I've been using Claude Sonnet 5.5 for coding, mostly building Linux CLI tools and random software projects. I'm trying to decide whether I should use Python or Go for my projects. Go seems perfect for Linux CLIs because of standalone binaries, performance, and easy distribution. But I've been thinking about something. Anthropic probably uses a ton of Python in its automated coding training, RL environments, tests, and generated coding tasks. Python is also everywhere in AI research and development. So wouldn't Sonnet naturally get much better at Python than languages like Go or Rust? I even considered building my projects in Python first, getting everything working, and then having Claude port them to Go. That way it already has the logic and a working reference instead of figuring everyth
