After ChatGPT launched and they became for-profit, sam said on an interview that the "open" doesn't actually mean open-source, but it was about being the AI that's as accessible as possible for everyone, without being dangerous. So, the "Open" here means "Accessible" But now, they're ending partnership with Cursor after SpaceXAI acquisition just because of the owner's personal feud with Elon I see this decision really contrasts with their value.
