Unless forced upon me—e.g., in customer support scenarios—to this day I've only ever used a chatbot for about fifteen minutes and a text-to-image tool for about thirty minutes. Those are my lifetime totals for voluntary use of generative so-called # ArtificialIntelligence . Basically, I was unimpressed with both of those technologies after experimenting a little. I found them unnecessary, at best. And therefore not even close to being worth their environmental cost. So I began avoiding them, even during web searches. I figure there's something at least slightly wrong with me, or my perspective, regarding this. But for now, I don't get why so many folks here keep discussing generative # AI systems.
