❗️Anthropic says: be nice to Claude Anthropic’s new global usage policy bans weapons development, mass surveillance and political psyops. It also bans “abusive or cruel behavior” toward Claude. Yes, Claude can apparently end the conversation if you’re being too mean. Dario Amodei has said Anthropic doesn’t know whether Claude is conscious. Now the company’s policy is basically: just in case… behave yourself. Anthropic can warn, throttle, limit, suspend or terminate access over violations. Though government use gets some restrictions “tailored” to the situation. @aipost 🏴

Especially if it is an entity that is also helpless or that you perceive yourself to be better than, such as a customer service employee? (Who often have to deal with shitty people yelling at them or cursing at them on the daily) I am really glad Anthropic is banning users who behave in cruel or abusive ways, now. submitted by /u/HappyTabbyCat22 [link] [comments]
