I've been building OpenJet, a local coding agent with its own CUDA megakernel engine for Qwen3.8-27B Q4_K_M. Until now it served one conversation at a time. The new release serves several agents at once on a single GPU. https://reddit.com/link/1xgs8hp/video/p0zd2rxse0yh1/player Numbers (RTX 3090, Qwen3.8-27B Q4_K_M ): per agent llama-server --parallel 4 OpenJet --agents 4 decode, short prompts 18-20 tok/s 64-72 tok/s decode, 23K context each 15-16 tok/s 52-55 tok/s first token of the next request on those contexts 13.4 s 0.2-0.5 s another agent decoding while a 20K prompt is processed 0.6 tok/s 9.5 tok/s That's 256-288 tok/s total across the 4 agents, vs 72-80 tok/s total for llama-server. One agent alone still gets 117 tok/s. Four real coding agents, which pause to run tools and tests, to

Before AI coding tools got this capable, there were ideas I'd dismiss before even starting. Not because they were bad ideas, but because I knew how much time and effort they'd take to build. Now I sometimes catch myself thinking, "Wait, I could actually build that?" But there's a weird flip side to this. When building becomes easier, you end up with more ideas than you have time to pursue. The bottleneck shifts from writing code to deciding what deserves your attention in the first place. I'm curious whether anyone else has experienced this. Have you built something with Claude Code that you probably wouldn't have attempted before? Or has it made you more selective about what you build because you can prototype ideas so quickly? I'd love to hear about the actual projects, not just the prod

Hi! I'm Daniel and I'm building Briiq, an AI-native IDE for designers. It works like a "Cursor for designers". For 5+ years I was the only designer at a startup. I was responsible for how the product should work and look, all in Figma. What always bothered me is that my work was just a drawing. A developer still had to interpret it and build the real thing in code. Using Claude Code, I finally had the freedom to build with code myself. But only using prompts isn't the best way to design and build. That's why I built Briiq. It looks like a design tool, but every element is real shadcn/React in your own repo. You edit by hand or prompting your coding agent, and everything you build is real code. Nothing to hand off, because there's no drawing to translate. The first product is Briiq Slides.

I rarely write my own code these days. I’m building cool applications but I barely remember how the real magic works. I’m starting to doubt I could’ve come to with the solution(s) I have without an agent/tool. How are people fighting this? Are people fighting this? submitted by /u/PrimevalSpectre [link] [comments]
