🌐 Reanimate Copies Web Animations Frame by Frame An open-source GitHub tool lets a Claude Code agent reproduce an animation from a website, video, or GIF. It records the source, analyzes movement frame by frame, generates code, then compares the result with the original. Timing stays within 80 ms by default. Pixel-perfect mode targets a visual mismatch of no more than 2%. Reanimate supports CSS animations and rendering through Canvas, WebGL or WebGPU, including 3D scenes and particle effects. When it finds differences, the agent corrects the code and checks again. Most animations reportedly need 2-5 cycles. It runs locally through Bun, Playwright and FFmpeg, with no paid API. The source is open under the MIT license. 📊@tech
Some of you asked for more AI skills and tools for video editing, so I’ll try to share more of the useful ones I find. Starting with this one 👇 Found a site where you can explore website animations and see how they were recreated. Buttons, 3D effects, interactive cards, hover animations… you can try some of them right on the page. The tool behind it is called Reanimate. It’s an open-source skill for Claude Code: give it a website, video, or GIF, and it tries to rebuild the animation in code. It then compares the result with the original and makes adjustments. You can use the result as a starting point and add your own ideas. ⭐️ Explore the animations 👨💻 Get the skill on GitHub
